Why is disney so successful?

All of Disney films are make believe, which includes some elements of fantasy and this allows an escape from real life. Walt Disney is one of the most successful and is known as being one of the big six companies in Hollywood. This is mainly because Disney is vertically integrated and this gives Disney more of a range of resources and also more money can go into the distribution part because they  don't have to pay for another production, distribution or exhibition companies. Some companies that Walt Disney owns are: Marvel and Pixar Animation Studios. Walt Disney relies heavily on synergy and cross media convergence to distribute and market there films. Walt Disney use of synergy: 11 theme parks, musicals, Shops, Toys. Walt Disney use of cross media convergence: Games, Albums, Posters. P

Disney creates films with large budgets and to make sure they get a profit they stick to what works usually, however becuase disney has so much money they can take risks but they want to make money.
