At the beginning of the clip there is a master shot which shows the limit of the action in the first scene. When the man is talking there is a close up of his face to look at his facial expression. Then Doc Martin comes into the conversation there is a shot reverse shot where the camera flicks between the Doc and the man speaking. When there is a close up of someone the direction there facing and the direction of there eyes shows how there talking to which backs up the dialog.
When everything goes a bit crazy the camera sort of flicks to different people quickly to show that the situation is get out of hand.
After Doc leaves with the dog there is an establishing shot, to establish the location, and this leads into a long shot to a median shot to a close up as Doc Martin walks paced. These techniques are very smooth as the camera follows the action.
